Working at Camp Balaton is more than a summer job – it’s an experience that stays with you long after the last sunset by the lake. It’s a big commitment, yes – but also a huge reward. We’re looking for passionate, creative, and responsible Specialists and Staff Members who are ready to invest their energy, skills, and heart into creating a safe, inspiring, and joyful camp experience.

Over the course of our camp sessions, Camp Balaton becomes a vibrant international Jewish community. This powerful experience is built first and foremost by the dedicated, professional, and fun-loving leaders who bring the camp to life every single day.

CAMP BALATON 2026 – DATES

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

As a Camp Balaton staff member, you will:
Supervise campers and always prioritize their safety, health, and well-being Plan, prepare, and lead high-quality, engaging activities (sports, arts, workshops, and more) Support daily camp programs and operations Follow all camp policies, safety protocols, and procedures Help create a warm, friendly, and informal camp atmosphere Foster an inclusive and supportive community based on respect and teamwork Collaborate closely with an international team to deliver an unforgettable camp experience

This role is for you if you…
Are 18 years or older Are fluent in English Have experience or knowledge in the field you’re applying for Are energetic, enthusiastic, and proactive Have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Enjoy working with children and teens Have a clean criminal background (certificate of good conduct required from your home country) Have previous experience in camps, schools, or youth programs (a big plus!)

6. Before arriving at camp, you’ll sign your contract
