This year’s theme is
This year “(Re)connecting” is the central theme of the summer!
This camp is about connecting more deeply with our heritage, traditions, values, community and ourselves. This summer, we will embark on an exciting journey to rediscover and strengthen these connections, fostering a sense of belonging and personal growth.
Connecting to Jewish roots and traditions
The aim of our camp is to give participants a deeper understanding and experience of Jewish values, culture and traditions, which are integrated into our daily activities. Through exciting and experiential activities, we will explore the richness of our heritage – from the beauty of the Shabbat to the significance of Jewish customs and rituals. These experiences will be both meaningful and fun for all campers!
Connecting to Jewish values
We place great emphasis on core Jewish values such as:
Tikkun Olam (bettering the world)
Gemilut Chasadim (selfless acts of kindness)
Kehilla (community)Kehilla (közösség)
Through the camp programmes, participants can experience these values and make them part of their own lives. Our aim is that the experiences and lessons learned at the camp are not only for the duration of the camp, but also for the long term, to foster responsibility and ethical living.
Connecting with the Jewish community
Our camp creates a vibrant and lively community where lifelong friendships are made and everyone can experience the power of Jewish togetherness. The time spent together, the shared living space, group activities and community projects all contribute to our campers becoming truly part of a larger Jewish community – both locally and internationally.
Connecting with yourself
Camp is not only a fun experience, but also an opportunity for personal growth. We create a supportive environment where campers are given the opportunity for self-reflection, self-confidence building and a deeper understanding of themselves. Our programs help them find their place in both the Jewish tradition and the world.
This summer is all about connection!
Under the theme of “(Re)Connecting”, we are planning an exciting summer of experiences that will strengthen our Jewish roots, traditions, values, community and ourselves.
Together, we will build memories and skills that will last a lifetime and inspire a continued commitment to Jewish life and personal growth!
